Any reason to keep playing offline?

Seems in previous years they did a good job to keep offline DD players engaged by having a lot of content in the December/Jan/Feb months.
This year I don't see much on the horizon. I guess they'll have an offline program releasing today but Im not seeing anything to get me excited until 24 releases.

Yeah, it’s doubtful there is much left to get excited about in 23. At this point the content looks like it is being mailed in and the devs are focused on 24. Just look at the rewards today, awful.

As far as I know there is no offline program today at all. I think the earliest we can expect an offline program based on their calendar is next Friday.

There is always RTTS. There are a lot of programs there to complete. I haven't even touched it this year. Also, there's rumors there will be a TA 6 - how accurate that is, I have no idea.

For me, I still have just about all of TA to finish. And the 3 Collections that go with them.
I’ll be busy way into 24 finishing that up.

If you have multiple seasons of TA to complete and want to knock off good chunks on all of them simultaneously, play MTO. When you play a season of MTO (which doesn't take that long), your points are applied to all the unfinished TA programs for the division you play under.

You love the game of baseball? Is there any reason besides that?

I still haven't done the USA map, and a few Conquest maps, like Extreme, and the Braves & Orioles city connect maps.
I didn't do the Mother's Day map because I hate turn based maps.
I only did one full mini-season, but that was for the trophies, so I could do that as an offline player.
Luckily, i play other stuff, like NHL, NBA, and EA WRC. I just got NASCAR Heat 5. Why, because it was free with PS+ lol, and need to finish up The Crew: Motorfest Platinum.
I usually play into February, but maybe not this season. -
Based upon the new rewards for RS and the new event, I can't think of a reason to play online, either. 🤪

I usually play into February, but maybe not this season.I'm sort of in the same boat where I just recently bought a PS5 and busy playing GOW:R, Spiderman 2, and Gran Tourismo 7 (best racing game ever - worth the system alone). So not missing MLB THE SHOW that much as I would have in past years. Also mixing in some Madden, NHL, PGA in there too.

I have not either. I am saving it for season 6. I will load up my best Cardinals theme team and do it with that squad.

I’m curious to hear how you like GOW I’ve had it since last October and still haven’t played it due to my lack of ability to break my addiction to this particular game and its fifteen minutes of pleasure lol I’m scared to death to immerse myself in that or Elden Ring because of what happened to me when I first discovered RDR2 lol nearly cost me my job AND my marriage. Is it pretty awesome though

I checked to see if they added anything over the weekend and it looks like they did. Oh boy another Finest series. I don't feel like going thru this grind for some measly rewards. Going to skip it - no desire to play. I think I'll just wait for 24 to come out.

Not that hard of a grind. A couple of Moments and a few cpu games. There's new stuff coming out this Fri and next Thurs.

I agree. The moments were a real cinch and it took me only seven games at the sandlot to get Mays. Prob won’t take even that many for most I went two full games before I got a hit with Torre or Harold Baines lol. I’ve been using Mays at CF since though I’ve not done so well with the card just yet.

Nothing on the calendar for Friday is offline.
A week from Wednesday we get something called Forever Wonders which I assume is the last Weekly Wonders program for the year.
The day after that we get Season 6 starting with new Conquest, Mini Season, Event, Battle Royale and Ranked season. There is also a free Holiday Bundle coming.
