Until I played The Show, I never realized how often...
Line drives were hit directly at infielders.
Late swings on inside pitches meant automatic pop-ups.
Mediocre outfielders made amazing diving catches.
Common pitchers could dot pitches right on the black.
There are throws in the dirt to first but a good scoop saves an error. (This one's a throwback)
What are some things you only realized after playing The Show?

Sarcasm is the word that came to me while reading this. Haha

Until I came back to this forum, I didn’t realize how many people play a game about baseball that seem to never watch the actual game of baseball.

I used to watch alot of baseball up until maybe 2003. Now I hardly do. However I for acouple of years played the heck out of the fifa games and I never watch soccer. So in a way that actually makes more sense that people get introduced to sports somtimes through video games.

I was talking about the original poster and FIFA is hard to find on TV in the US. Fans of FIFA can be given a pass in this regards. I grew up watching more soccer than baseball, my dad was stationed in Italy and Greece in the 80s, and I usually have to find soccer on streaming when I want to watch it.

Hey I know zero about soccer but I do know that Apple Plus has all sorts of soccer games on there to watch. I know this because I have to scroll by tons of it before I get to all the baseball goodies they have on there and let me tell you there’s a plethora.
PS not a plethora of piñatas but of excellent baseball choices

I got the Messi package to watch his games. He’s my favorite non baseball player. I’m a Barcelona fan from back in the day from before he even played and became the greatest ever. Thanks for the heads up.
