CBrev, is there any rough ETA we are dealing with. Is this a 24 hour issue or one week more issue? Would be nice if we could get a bit of communication around more specifics after nearly 5 1/2 days.
The chances of the Mets winning the World Series this year are higher than the chances of us getting honest and concise info from Cbrev or SDS.
As a Mets fan the answer is never then because Mets will never win and make me suffer forever

no update, still cant connect...this is getting a bit ridiculous imo

Wow, you have solution that will fix the problem of group of people not being able to play a large portion of your game and you are waiting 15 hours to deploy? Why would you wait? Deploy it now! This is another example of SDS doing what is convenient for them and not what is best for the customers. I am done. SDS you have given me the worst experience of any video game I have played in long time and you have lost a customer.

Go to the game and click + and go to software update and select via the internet and it will start the download for it

He just mentioned a 2 month outage and all you caught was a 1 day mistake.

You have to open the software and go through the loading screens. Where you would normally see a disconnect notice, you'll get a dialogue box prompting you to update the software. Accept, and it should work for you.
I have a switch and after the update I'm back online.

Did they push an update for other consoles besides the Switch?
Yes. I updated my PS5 and the Switch games this morning. The XBox must have downloaded the update internally because there wasn't a download and install when I turned it on. I think it sits idle to update automatically.

I wonder if Blizzard uses the same servers (not machines, but companies) as Sony and Microsoft. Google or Amazon...those are the two largest providers.
Edit: found it. The main servers are through Amazon (AWS). Battlenet (Blizzard) hosts their own and leases out their servers to other companies too). So, it's not a common (same company) server problem.
