I love playing this game and losing 2-0 and getting back to back perfect perfects with Diamond players. The first one was a 98mph fly out to the wall, and then next one was a 114mph groundout to second base. I love this game so much, it brings me so much joy. It even made me break a headset

I agree that a perfect-perfect should not be an automatic hit but, I share the frustration with OP. When you hit a ball over 100 mph your average in theory goes up. Lately playing this game it feels like Iām hitting more in the ball park of .100 on those exit veloās. Now maybe itās just ebbs and flows but a perfect perfect should be a hit at least half the time.

Edit: This reminds me of a Rivercats (SF AAA) game we went to a couple of years ago. Brandon Belt was in rehab and playing 1B. He was on deck right in front of us, and I pointed out a gap to my wife in left-center because the LF was playing toward the line and the CF was shaded to RF. When Belt came up to bat, they didn't move. Belt hit a whopper right to the spot I pointed out. I thought the ball was long gone by the sound of it. Darned if that CF didn't make it to the spot and rob Belt of the HR.

I feel like this exactly illustrates my point. Iām well aware there are fielders and I simply said the amount of times I hit the ball over 100 mph only to have it be for naught is frustrating. The chart shows the batting average on balls hit over 102 mph is over .500. The same numbers of fielders are on the field for those hits (Iām assuming). So simply put if you hit the ball really hard more often than not, you will get a hit. The shows response to that? Hold my beer.
