Conquest is Such a Joke

Playing on Veteran or All-Star seemed to help. 15 runs at the most compared to Rookie but I only do the conquest if it is absolutely required. no repeatable missions in a program)

I've posted about this before so I won't go into the details I did in another post but yeah it's way off....most of my Rookie conquest games are 1-0 3 hit affairs but my rookie vs CPU games are 30+ to 0 games with 40+ hits so its pretty obvious they've done something to keep you from grinding the stats while finishing a map quickly.
Also, yes to those who suggested veteran, I've noticed I will put up 3-10 runs during a conquest game on Veteran difficulty.

On rookie literally just switch to timing and you’ll be raking HRs left and right it’s much easier then using a pci at that difficulty level

I never play conquest games on rookie. I always choose veteran as that is my preferred difficulty. Even then I still go through hot and cold streaks. Last night going through the Career conquest was a struggle. A lineup full of power guys and everything seemed weak. But I squeaked out the wins and that is all that matters.
I also discovered last night that Greg Vaughan may just be the card I am the worst with. I could not buy solid contact with that man.

If you are gonna troll and post the very useless and self serving ego response of "Get good" than at least read the thread. Not one person said they lose on rookie. It's simply stating the games play way different and the scoring is way lower on conquest Rookie than if you do a regular play vs CPU game on Rookie. But.....don't bother I'll just give you the pat on the back you were really looking for....everyone listen up and say hi to the G.O.A.T.

I have to say that I don't put much stock in these posts personally, but man, in the last few days I have done the complete Career and Great Race conquests and I struggled to hit far more than normal and homeruns were far and few between.
I then finished today with some moments in the Pennant Race set and remembered how hitting normally feels as I was cranking XBHs and homeruns within a few at bats or sometimes swings. In 5 hitting moments I probably hit only a few homeruns less than I did in the entire great race conquest.

I find I put up a lot more runs on Veteran than I do on Rookie in Conquests. So now Veteran is my go-to difficulty for Conquests.
