He was in Korea and did well but I have no idea. I havenât heard anything since the beginning of summer when he got in trouble for lying about betting on sports.

Ahhh I hadnât heard that. What a pity, really. I feel like he might be the next generations Bo Jackson where here in about 20 years thereâll be some kind of new AI spawned sabre metric that determines he was the top athletic talent or something equally insane. I mean his highlight reel is truly incredible he really had the potential to have ALL the tools, didnât he?
Whatâs the song the Scarecrow sang in Wizard of Oz lol? That could be Puigâs theme song

I also thought he was gonna be the next Bo. Shame really. I read an LA Times article after they traded him talking about all the things the Dodgers hid about him while he was there. Baseball related not off the field related. For example, he would ignore the fielding card and was never in the correct fielding position and cost the team many times including in the playoffs.

I agree with you in all honesty. They are giving away these stolen bases and one could only BEGIN to imagine how many SB those like Henderson and Coleman wouldâve had if they had the luxury of knowing that after two pickoff attempts they could scoot.
Still we canât knock the players for having to play the game by the rules in place when itâs their time. It was no surprise to me that incredibly exciting accomplishments would be occurring with these rule changes. Makes you wonder why there hasnât been more talk of an asterisk beside any of these new records due to these changes but Iâm sure thatâs coming too.
Still though I gotta tip my cap to Acuña. I mean what a season
