1:6 odds for program packs is absolute trash

I am actually good with how this is set up and feel like all programs should have had packs like this instead of choice packs like the number retirement or the 98 chase.
It at least keeps packs interesting especially when they cant be purchased in the pack shop.

At least these packs are free, good thing too because i wouldn't spend even a stub to get them if they were.

15 f-in packs and 15 f-in golds. SDS has completely lost touch on how to design fun. I would rather have choice pack were I get 95s (which I will never use) that 4 progress towards the program then a 1 in 6 chance of getting something good. Even if you give away these packs like water some people are going to get nothing and it makes for a miserable experience for them. It just drives wedge between the lucky and the unlucky. I am irrationally mad at people that actually have drawn a diamond from these bogus packs.
Update: 19 golds and counting….
Update 2: pulled a diamond on the 22 pack. If I did my math correctly there was a 2% chance that the first diamond would be on pack 22. I am bitter and frustrated.

It’s a wonder that any of us are still playing based on how aggressively they have given up on content since Madden dropped.
I’m trying to stick with it, but after pulling two worthless low golds from my first program reward it’s hard to get amped to play showdown and conquest for the millionth time this year…
Edit: now 4/4 on worthless golds.
Funny you say that cause the odds remind me of something straight out of Madden— which is a bad direction for any franchise take

I thought it was pretty good. Got Schmidt after moments. I've since pulled 2 more Schmidts, Glaus, and Stargill. I bought them all, except Schmidt, expecting not to get any more. I used 3 on part one, have finished Wacha and one other mission. Plus, I pulled Judge from a Jumbo pack. almost done with part one and will only have to do 2 missions for part 2. This is the first program this year where I'm happy with most of the pulls.

I pulled Halladay from the number Retirement pack, base round Edgar Martinez from the 98 pack and a Ozzie Albies from the Jumbo pack. That was enough to put me back over 1 million stubs after getting Alan Trammell so i'm pretty pleased with this program as well actually. Structure isn't great but not bad.

I got one 10K from many packs. Like 5 or 6 Gold LS guys. WTH? I thought packs from programs were usually rare or common round, these are gold LS lol. OK
-
I got 6 golds, no program players

I opened 16 so far and pulled Madbum, Stargell and Schmidt. Just a tad ahead of the advertised 1:6.
Take your awesome pulls and everyone else’s in this thread and it’s like 1:600 odds. Right?
-
I got a rock
-
I pulled 1 Schmidt from 14 packs from the Showdown
-
Just went 0-21 in these packs. Yeah, 1:6 my [censored]
-
Pulled Madbum in 3 consecutive packs.
-
You’re welcome!
-
Seeing the prices on the market for them, its really not that bad, pull rate is good, another thing people want to complain about, the showdown is repeatable (not for program progress) play the showdown and stack as many packs as you can. Golds in volume still earn stubs!
-
Finished the Showdown and got 14 packs.
Two Schmidt’s and a Whitey Ford for me.
Sold one Schmidt. I’ll take it!

I opened up last year's The Show and bought 1500 packs. I got exactly one trout and one Otani. I'm thinking that buying those packs isn't a great idea.

Legit pulled every 99 diamond and Stargell and madbum twice. The odds just aren’t in your favor, has nothing to do with you crying about the game

Congrats on great pack luck and on being rude. You seem like a cool guy.
