Pennant Chase program
-
If I am adding this up correctly: doing the Moments, Missions, and Map but don't pull any of the Awards cards from the Pennant packs, then I only get 60 points. I need to pull a minimum of three different Awards cards from the Pennant packs to get the needed 85 points. The reason I am not including the Showdown (I know, I know, for some of you it is a walk in the park) is because I am horrible at them.
Sigh, I don't even know if I will begin this program.
-
Ok Iām late to this party but LS Golds? WTF not even collection fodder. Not worth the work for QS cards. SDS has stooped to an all time low this year. YAWN

I am being completely honest when I say that this showdown was really easy. Most of the rounds you are tied or maybe down 1. Only rounds you are down more are 1 is with the bases loaded and down by 3 and the final round where you are down by 3 with 20 outs. It went really quick for me last night, probably took me no more than 45 minutes total. There are quite a few lefty pitchers in the Showdown, so I went righty heavy with Stargell, Devers and Jackie Bradley Jr as my lefty hitters. If you decide to try it, good luck. On a side note, you get a ton of the Pennant Chase packs. Odds are you will pull at least 3 of the players.

The Pennant Chase Program consists of 2 Stages. The Stage 1 Program maxes out at 85 Program Stars and does not carry over to Stage 2. Once Stage 2 has been unlocked, completing Stage 1 tasks will not grant Program Stars towards Stage 2 progression.
Half the player base will never read the quote above and come complaining when Stage 2 is released about why they're not being awarded program progress.
I read it but I still got no clue as to what it means lol
Iām with bunny here, Iām not following this at all.
Have they announced when Stage 2 is coming?
Do I need to stop playing in DD what Iām currently playing (TA3) and get started on this program?
Is this conquest map and showdown going away when Stage 2 comes out?
Will I be able to get Stage 1 cards when stage 2 comes out?
Will stage 2 give me enough stuff to do to complete both Stage 1 and Stage 2 progress?
In another thread, guys are talking about all these Pennant chase packs. Where are they coming from? Playing āsomethingā? Buying them?
Feel free to talk to me like Iām 6 years old.

Just small warning to everyone who is stupid as me. Don't collect every card in stage 1, if you do that then you will have to grind almost 8k pxp with pennant chase program players to be able to complete the program. As I saw the collection in both stages I thought I will be able to collect them in both but nope. Oh well, I will not read notes next time anyway

Stage 2 opens when you complete Stage 1 (get to 85 points), so it's already out. Anything you collect in Stage 1 you CAN NOT collect in Stage 2. So don't do all the collections in Stage 1 or you will be screwed for Stage 2. The conquest and showdown only apply to Stage 1 as Stage 2 has it own set of missions you need to accomplish. Anything you do for 1 does not count toward 2. You will get at least 20 packs from doing the program, showdown and conquests. You can buy the players too but I would wait until you opened all your packs. I already have 3 of the 5 and I am only at 40 points right now.

Iām thinking these packs shall be sprinkled in as rewards as you accumulate points that go towards this āPennant Raceā program. I played a quick couple of conquest strongholds in the related conquest and mightāve gotten one there too. Iāve gotten 1 silver and 2 gold from my three packs and qsād them rather than post them for a shot at 12 extra stubs

Exactly. They seem to come in 2 packs. You even get some packs in the Showdown. I am currently at 40 points in the program. I have done all the moments, the showdown and 1 collection. Going to work on the conquest this afternoon since the weather here is [censored]. But I earned 16 packs already, pulled 3 of the 99's.

Every teams strong hold has at least one Pennant Race pack, you also get at least 4 from the path itself and 3 more as a reward for beating the map but the real prize for beating the conquest map is the great race of 98 pack, i however pulled base again on that one but their prices have fallen off a cliff

Lol. I bought all 5 cards from the start so I collected them. I ended up pulling 5 stargells and 1 Bumgarner. Didnāt realize that there is so little to do in stage 2 and didnāt want to collect any of the event cards when i get them. I am not in any rush to complete the program but itās annoying that there isnāt more in stage 2.

Your best bet is to save 3 of the Pennant Chase packs for Stage 2, to knock it off right away.

I can vouch for conquest not counting in stage 2. This is the dumbest thing yet. The game just keeps getting worse.

They have done multi-stage programs in the past, where part 1 goals didn't count for part 2. I think they told you in the program as well. I actually enjoyed this program, the grind wasn't that bad at all, and there were some pretty good cards as rewards that were all sellable.
-
So if Conquest doesn't count for Stage 1, why is it available to play? Makes no sense to me. It should be locked.

It counts for stage one but thats say your already at 80 points only 5 points of the 20 earned for the conquest map are going to count. There is a cut off at 85 points when stage 2 begins.

I'm at 15 points, lol. Just unlocked Wacha-Wacha by just the Moments so far. I was going to dig into the Conquest on my days off, and attempt Showdown.
