I pitched with MA Sonny Gray today and this happened 5 or 6 times. It almost cost me the game. It's a shame because I haven't noticed it in months before today.

it literally cost me the 11th game of a BR run
i was up 7-3 going into the third
8 walks later (a mix of HBP and 4 pitch walks) it was 7-11

I thought by now everyone gave up on PPP. I been using analog again for quite a while with no issues.

Latency. ...This is also very common when playing against an opponent geographically much further away from you. Regardless, if the P2P connection is poor, then gameplay will suffer.
In previous years, I would periodically play H2H RS around 3-4 am pst. During that period, I would sometimes get matched with users in Korea and those games were basically unplayable.
I wish there was a ping notification before going into a game. Scrolling up and down your lineup in the pregame load screen is not always an accurate indicator of the connection quality.

It will get worse the more people quit. I grind to get players for RS. I am not wasting time grinding when online is horrid. This is why I am at 0% on Set 4 after completing the first 3 in a few weeks each.
Game has been horrid online for a few months. -
I call it the pitch glitch, when another player and you have a bad connection it happens way more than it should… it’s usually from what I see a cross plat issue or poor connection.. my connection is amazing but if someone is playing on McDonald’s wifi it’s a thing

For some reason it is worse on fiber than using a mobile hotspot. Idk

it's one thing for games to be ruined because of a bad connection causing your hitting timing to be off...that can be adjusted for
it's another when every other pitch is either a meatball slider, bean ball, or wild pitch
there's nothing you can do but bear it or quit

was up 10-6 going into the ninth and the magical teleporting pitch helped my opponent load the bases on walks and then hit a grand slam to tie it
had to just quit when it was 10-10, wasn't gonna abide by that anymore
