Thoughts on new McGwire

I hardly played this weekend so grinded out all the new moments today and I freaking hated McGwire.
I must have had 7 perfect perfects for fly outs at the wall ( I mean, this isn’t Tim Raines, come on) and his swing felt very slow.
Love To hear what others think.

I said in a different thread I hit his moment HRs with no issues and so hoped this card was better but others chimed in that it was the same crappy card as the others. You’re a better player than me and so if it didn’t play well for you then that’s the answer for me.

hated his swing in showdown and couldn't do a thing with 99 mcgwire so i stopped picking him

Haven't used him yet since finishing program on Sunday. Don't have his core to compare swings

Ive never been a fan on his. I'll also add that the final moments of hitting 2 HR with him says its on rookie difficulty, and the pitcher most certainly is not at rookie.

If you haven’t touched it in days, SDS needs to realize what they have done to this game and the hardcore user base.
It's pretty stale buddy. Yet those SDS streamers go through a whole broadcast about how these 97's they just gave out can play. LOL They can't even make my Rookie grinding team.

Yea but im not gonna grind a conquest map, showdown some moments and a cpu game to get one 97 card that moght be useful. Not nomore, noway, no how, no sir. Done with that.

The new McGwire is better than the old 99 McGwire. Both cards stink compared to Carlos Delgado's 99, which can be found in the program packs.
Same as it ever was this year.

The Greg Vaughn and Jason Kendall are garbage as well. The only good one so far that I've unlocked is Larry Walker's 97.
EDIT: The Jeter is pretty good, as I just unlocked him.
I got base again in the pack. Shocker.
Took a chance on the Mets version of Piazza,.to help me crawl through the program. I needed that rare round pull!

Yeah man, I’ll be back when I can use my Set3 cards again. I’m done grinding for the year and I am not interested in anything from Set4 but Mookie.
