I’m genuinely starting to feel like 22 was more enjoyable than 23. I’m relatively new to DD. Since starting in 2020 I thoroughly enjoyed playing 20 and 21. Last year was okay but definitely not as good. This year had promise but now I actually feel like I had much more fun playing 22. It’s discouraging that in 4 years time the difference is night and day.

    Since starting in 2020

I started DD in 2020 as well. This year is the least fun for me as well 😢

Too bad you two weren't around earlier. 16 & 17 had way better gameplay and had great players too. 2023 is quickly catching up to 18 as one of the worst edition and if it keeps up will pass it in the near future.

I went back and was playing 19 prior to launch of 23 since 22 stopped releasing content and was actually enjoying gameplay a lot.

The quality has gone down significantly since MLB forced them into making the game for Microsoft and Nintendo.

Not a big enough studio to handle 3 consoles. It’s not like they grew any. If I recall they actually shrunk in the last couple years. From what I’ve read they have ~25 people working at SDS.

I find the gameplay to be more of a simulation and realistic with each passing year so I can see why DD players might not enjoy that as The Show is moving away from acrady gameplay so its encouraging for Franchise guys.

I never did play 22 but I think 21 is the same and or better commentary is better they do have Matt vasgersian as well but also it's still the same gameplay very very minimal changes only real big change is stadium creator some AI stuff but still it's pretty much the same game inside and out...

The better game if you ask me is Japanese baseball spirits it's literally in Japanese but it has exact same controls and road to the show starts in high school with aluminum bats

21 was way better and much more rewarding than 22 or 23. People complained about it being too easy to get good cards and make stubs so now we have what we have now where making stubs is a chore and the elite cards cost a ton. It is what it is.

When are you going to wake up? SDS could care less about Franchise. There is no money in it. Why do you think online Franchise is gone. You are losing it Tyler.

Ohhh thank you for taking the time from watching Foxnews and Newsmax to join us, I hope you learned about new conspiracy theories today. DD for the Show is like Fifa's loot boxes, people are lazy and want instant gratification and these gaming companies know this and pander to these people. So yes, DD makes all the money but Franchise is where the serious players are. But you're a boomer and you're into DD? I thought only snot nose casual newbs play DD but you're a boomer and you play? Good for you gramps, also any luck finding those 11,000 votes for your cult orange leader?

It's too bad you are such a disgrace where you come from. You should at least try to follow better Canucks like Canuckler or Samguenther1987 or CDNMoneyMaker

I don't know who the other Canadians are but I can understand why you'd get along with Canucklehead, if you add both of your IQs up you'd get a negative number. I have a better chance of teaching my cat physics than the two of you.

Yeah and if you and Tyler would put your heads together you'd form a rock pile.

I feel like 23 is a major improvement over 22. Better hitting feedback, dynamic throw meter, way more card content. Addition of negro leagues was great. Plenty to complain about, but simply compared to 22 its a big upgrade. I think people forget what a wreck 22 was. 22 is the worst edition ever imo. Seems like I'm in minority here, no pun intended.
