This seems very out of touch. This art is not for me. Team affinity having 97s again has me not wanting to play it.

It feels like they heard the community complain about TA being removed and added it back in to show they're 'listening'. Of course no one was asking for this slog for mediocre (being kind) rewards.
Everything has been going steeply downhill since set 1 ended.
I don't know how to even address the card art. It's terrible. That's all I got.

This card art is the worst yet, ZERO desire to grind any of this mess for the art or for the lesser 4th version of a card I already have

I've been playing MLBTS since 2007. Started DD in May 2020. I always jump right into the game right after streams or big content drops. Except today.
Ick. That's how I feel about season 4. Just... Ick. I have no desire to start over again with "lesser" cards.
Finally, last year I grinded BR to get mega-Trout. This year, he'll cost 500k plus stubs. No thanks.

This new card series is just awful. Who in their right mind thought let's make cards of players of the field in clothes.

The content 97s in TA come on Seasons 1,2 and 3 sure I cam defend that but it's now September and the season last 64 days. Should be 99s

Season 4 is 64 days long, Nov 2, that is to long while also reducing requirements for collections so either you are slowing down releases or people will be done content weeks before season 5

That stream, my word what an absolutely distasteful display, first off stop calling snap shot series "card art" it's copy and paste of a Instagram pic with a filter. Your social team revealed everything 2 hours before you went live so don't act like everything is a surprise. Have some respect for those watching, when the spoke about the 98 race and talked like we are 2 and 3.year Olds was maddening.
I have been one of the most vocal defenders of SDS on here and I can't find any real positives from this release.

It seems like having 97s at the start is because it’s a whole new season. So it’s like starting the game over at the beginning. At the beginning of the game you start with lower rated players and move up to higher rated players so at the beginning of the season you start with lower rated players. That being said my entire lineup is still all 99s and the cards I earn will just go towards Nolan’s horse. Lol.

Just a quick point on the card art, most of these pictures are short print Topps cards, that’s what they were going for I’m guessing

I was thinking about that earlier when they were realasing them because I have a Jay Buhner card were he's bitting a baseball bat and has his son besides him. But that was upper deck.

I agree with the comments above. This is easily my least favorite year of the show since 2017 when I started playing. The game has become so repetitive. Way too much grinding on TA for cards that aren’t good enough to use after. Way too many cards in the game overall. 1,000+ diamonds is just wayyyyyyy too many. Especially when so many of them are of the same people over and over and the ratings are so similar. The seasons thing is a fine idea but losing the ability to play with cards you like was a terrible idea. Some of my favorite cards were in season 1 and I can’t use them for half of the game cycle. Releasing 97 cards of guys that already have 99s is never a good idea. Also this year the focus on seasons made the types of cards themselves (awards, milestone, etc..) totally irrelevant. Those are my biggest gripes.
