Always great moments on a baseball field. I imagine they will be in the Hall perhaps 1-2 years apart depending on when Verlander hangs it up. Do you think he’ll make a run at 300 Wins? He’d need 3 solid more years and I just don’t see it happening. Then again, I didn’t think Pujols would get to 700 a few years back. And Verlander is still pitching well.
Sorry I know this thread is about Mookie. He actually has a 7.1 War to Acuna’s 6.4 this year so it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility. I just can’t see anyone but Acuna getting it based on the power speed combo.

I am hoping for Mookie, in part, due to being able to play him at SS or 2B. But I agree, either card should be fun to use.

He may be mr August but i think honestly he's just mr clutch, when it's needed most there he is. I think it was the 2021 Playoffs where he scalled the right field wall and caught a ballI I thought he had no business getting to and then proceeded to hit a home run in that same game. The guy is a gammer.

I am hoping for Mookie. His cards turn on inside FBs like no other. While he lacks JRod's speed, Mookie's defense, arm, acc, hitting etc. should be great. Finally, Betts' ability to play SS and 2B will be very valuable, since the outfield options are plentiful.

Hopefully Bett's S4 card will have SS secondary. -
He didn't play SS in August though, only April, May, June, July. (and only 6 complete games total).
Doubtful.
