Custom leagues glitch

One of the guys in my custom league is trying to join and getting the error message “sorry, you are blocked from joining this league.” I tried having different people make the league and it kept doing the same error only for this guy so I think settings may need to be changed but I’m not sure what.

Have him check to make sure he hasn't blocked anyone else's gamertag in the league. I know my Xbox won't allow me to join users I have blocked for private matches in some games.

I'm having the same error. Have a league of 12 people and the 11 person is getting this error. He's never played the game before so now sure how he would be blocked.

Same issue here I tried to contact support. No response. This game is a joke

I figured it out. Everyone needs to be friends on their respective platform of choice. Some will work but some players have restrictions.
I had the same issue until I figured out the two guys getting locked out were not friends. They sent requests accepted and they were good to go.
The buddy that was the culprit plays on pc from Xbox app or whatever.
Also, it appears cross platform friend requests do not matter.

Never got nothing BUT bugs from Custom Leagues just saying Custom Leagues makes me itch.

Well it gets back to the same thing really if any one of your players in the league get the challenge failed or network errors it could take out the whole league be my guess. Have to boot the ones who got it

Have no answers on what is causing the messages on my system . Not very happy about buying a lame horse and the fellow who sold it wont answer the door when I knock, What would we call such a fellow?

October 14th 2023, and this prb is still happening. I've been playing with the same guys for a long time now, and with our newest league I'm the only one now that can't join. I get "Sorry, you are blocked from joining this league". BUT, everyone in the league has made sure I'm not blocked on their systems, please I'm friends with them all. Still unable to play with them.
