Yep, yep they did

that is lame!

They were a limited time offer well the Event was still going. I hear mini seasons works well to grind towards Griffey Jr though.

They communicated it when extreme dropped. They didn’t want people collecting Glavine and Baez from this Event’s rewind pack.

This is not a complaint, but I do think this is an excellent example of why "it was in the stream" is not the best system for a game. I am playing very little this year, so watching a stream is even less important to me than ever before. I saw the collection for Extreme and thought about the possibility of them being removed, but there have also been plenty of times over the years that they left things like this around. They were there for people who didn't have to be the absolute first to complete something. If you wanted to be first, you had to be good, grind or pay. If you didn't mind waiting, the price might go down...sometimes it would backfire and prices would go up.
Again, I really am not complaining because I could care less if I complete Extreme or any other program this year, but I just think SDS expecting their entire player base to watch and pay attention to every detail from a livestream isn't the best practice for 95% of the player base. Three members of my family play this game significantly more than the average person, but not a single one of us watched "the stream".

This is the case in my house as well except there are only two of us that play (since my daughter kept beating us so terribly that she declared it ‘no fun’) and outside of the people on this very forum I receive zero information regarding the game. I’ve an occupation that demands my full focus while at work plus raising teenagers I just can’t get into the kind of commitment for a game or it would cut into my enjoyment or MLB and I can’t let anything steal time away from that lol.
It’s the reason I’m on this forum honestly and I’ve not been disappointed with the great information. I thank so many of y’all for taking players like us into account and making informative posts on here. It’s so critical for my own enjoyment and while sometimes I come across looking like a total idiot (a pattern that’s followed me 50 years now haha) the guys here have always given me excellent answers and only marginal grief lol

Completely agree! I so appreciate the posts that @arvcpa_MLBTS makes that help keep everyone up to date on what is going on. My life has definitely been busier lately with the same exact things you mentioned and I haven't been on here near as much as in the past or I would know more than I do right now. I feel like this has shown me how hard it would really be for the average fan to know important details that get explained in streams.

Even if you didn't watch the stream and just "saw the collection for Extreme", it was printed right there on the screen.
Would have been nice if the collection stuck around? Sure! But then again, this is Extreme so it makes sense they'd put an extra bit of difficulty spice into it.

I have never watched a single stream, but I knew the collection was going to be removed. If you clicked on the collection, each card had a warning about only being collectable during the event. So, they did communicate this in multiple ways. Outside of personally calling or texting, I don't know what more they can do.
EDIT - I REPLIED BEFORE I SAW THE POST FROM FARRIS!

I get it and I agree with your comments. I truly have paid very little attention to this game recently and was more making my comments based on the regular "it was in the stream" comments...considering a link was posted to the stream and nobody had mentioned it showed in game.

Usually the correct way to go.
