Cincinnati Reds BIG Ted. Yeah he knew how to take a pair of scissors to the sleeves of a uniform. Only got his WS ring with the White Sox though.

It seems like he said the choice for him came down to either go sleeveless or change his swing so out comes the scissors (hope he didn’t run with them) and the rest is history.

Thank you for the advice. I love me a good pun though and I’m no stranger to self shaming for all the times I’ve derailed a good thread.
Be careful what you wish for because ya just might get it. My goodness but how many times has this bitten me over that last half century. Ouch!
