It was in 1965

That was it then. Duh. Sandy Koufax. That game seven call was the first time I heard Vin Scully refer to a change up as a “Soap bubble”

Good one. Now how many did Koufax have?
-

Ryan had 383. How many did Koufax have? What's your final NyQuil answer?

PA got it Bunny
-
Here is a good one, Ryan has the single season for NL RHP, NL overall, MLB RHP,and MLB overall
Koufax has NL LHP, MLB LHP
Who has the AL record both for LHP and overall? -

Who has the AL record both for LHP and overall? My first guess would be Randy Johnson although he played for several NL teams.

Nvm. Ryan was with the angels for the 383,so he has the AL record and Koufax has the NL record
Randy got his 372 with ARI, he only topped 300 once with SEA at 306. -
I feel Steve Carlton floating around this conversation
-
Randy Johnson
Steve Carlton
Mickey Lolich
Frank Tanana
Chuck FinleyWarren Spahn had the most wins as a lefty but I don't think he was a real strikeout pitcher.
-
I’ve got one. It’s been revealed thru several posts that 1987 had four players to reach 30/30 club. Three have been named here but whom was the fourth?
Edit. Just name all 4
-
Hint: two of these guys played their HS ball in the same field as our very own Texas Hondo Ten point buck slayer @Texas10pt_MLBTS
I should say they both played at least one game each on the same hs field that our friend played on.
-
Howard Johnson
Joe Carter
Darryl Strawberry
The last one must be the Crenshaw High alumni Eric Davis. -
Bingo! He had 37 and 50 that year and missed over 30 games! That’s a month of baseball.
-
Ok. We all know about the no Hitter pitched by Lorenzen last night. I think I said earlier it was the fourteenth one by a Philly. Who pitched their last one and for a bonus tell us the year
I had it wrong lol I’ve missed a couple
