No, these are gappers all the way to the wall, like he’s cruising into 2nd as they’re picking up the ball and the runner from first is still trying to score and their relay throw gets him out.

Is it the third out at home?

But you say the runner gets thrown out at home. That implies that the outfielder made a choice to not attempt the out at 2B but at the plate instead, the game often counts that as a FC. Idk who is in the outfield for the CPU but a big arm can definitely gun you at 2B when a runner can get gunned at home.

Usually, yes. But I still don’t understand how it would not be considered a double if it’s CLEARLY a double before the relay home is even close to complete.

Well, I don't know either then.

It should only be a fielder’s choice if the runner advances to 2nd only because the throws were going home instead. This is not the case—I’m speaking about when the runner is arriving at 2B on a clear double as the outfielders are still getting the ball. It’s just frustrating when trying to get 4 XBH to not have clear doubles counting! Haha

If the ball isn't at the cutoff man when you are at 2nd,keep going to third

Probably because it's a single and then you advance to 2B as a fielder's choice
This for sure, most people don't understand the difference between a double and advancing on the throw.
-
What he is talking about is a ball hit to the wall, batter is on 2nd before or as the cutoff man has it,guy gets thrown out at the plate and it still counts as a single, there is no play at 2nd(he'd be safe)

Nah, he's talking about a pretty common issue encountered in moments with a runner on base. In a lot of cases you'll be standing on second when the ball is in the air on the way to the cut off man and the runner is out at home by a mile and it reads like you were advancing on the throw but it's not.
OP what you have to do is keep running past second if you notice it about it happen. Then the game reads you past second on your way to third and will credit you a double even if the runner is thrown out at home. It's annoying you essentially have to run into an out but it's really common.
