Ok I just read this whole thread…What NR7LES said in the original post is all true. He said what he said & backed it up with facts…Then that Canuckler troll showed up & hijacked the thread with his usual shenanigans and the thread became a mudslinging thread instead. When are you guys going to stop feeding this troll? He’s clearly one of these keyboard warriors that’s tough because he can hide in anonymity. He wouldn’t say any of this stuff to you in person & he knows it. Nor would he ever meet any of you in person for a physical altercation. JUST IGNORE HIM.

You’re definitely right though, we should definitely make this game an echo chamber for guys like Nr7les (Sammy77), bestpal, Skippractice, sorry the game isn’t what you want it to be, hopefully you can find a game better to your liking that doesn’t effect your mental health like this one does. And yes, I would definitely say that to your face.

The. Game. Is. Dying. We all know those two or three people that used to play it that don't anymore. Why? Because everyone is a 99, they force you to grind your life away, buying packs from the store is the most boring experience in any ultimate team style gamemode of any sports video game (I mean who from SDS thought it was a good idea to only allow you to pull CORE players in packs... what a snooze fest), and the game is filled with simply too much RNG that most of us in here chalk up to "baseball".
When will the community actually hold the development team accountable? It's riddled with server issues, glitches, bugs, exploits. Since release, there hasn't been a single meaningful gameplay update AT ALL. It's been like this for years now and players are picking up on it. The ones who stay are complacent. We use excuses like "it's the only option, what other baseball game would we play". When people suggest posts like this, they get targeted with phrases like "must of lost today" instead of having an open HONEST dialogue with constructive criticism on how we can provide ways to improve the game through the power of the players.
If not, enjoy making your snobby comments towards people who post in here that are passionate about playing the game at a high level. We're leaving... The game that is your "only option" will continue to bleed out of a player base until it looses enough money year over year to where that option is no longer available. The only ones left behind will be players who don't care for competitive online play, or offline players. I wish I was wrongs.

Canuckler - Fighting is psychotic behavior, I would never do that.
Also Canuckler - I just spent 8 hours looking through player X’s game history & in The Show 16 you once struck out 16 times, You are not a good player.

On the flip side, I’m not going to slurp the devs/game like Tylerslikewhoa because there are things about the game I enjoy. Why? Because at the end of the day SDS is a video game studio that neither cares about me as a person nor if I play their game or not. No post of yelling on this forum will change anything SDS does. It’s like having kids, whining and crying isn’t going to get them what they want. When the surveys come up I do my best to offer constructive feedback based on my personal experience as others do and SDS will choose what to do with the game going forward. From there I’ll choose to buy the game or not, if I do cool. If not, the sun will still rise, the world will keep spinning and SDS will continue to move forward as if nothing happened because we are irrelevant to them. More people need to realize this.

Honestly the grind isn’t my favourite part but it is what it is. Most of my favourite players are in the game so I’ll grind for them.

Having speed and PCI changes at every level is bad. Even on the lower levels. When I first started playing late in the 21 season I got to the borderline of veteran and all-star.
Between a string of rage quits and a couple of connection drops by my opponents I got bumped into all-star and was not ready for it. A string of losses followed, and I dropped back down to veteran, and again, string of rage quits, and I kept going back and forth between two levels and couldn't get a consistent game setting.
At that point I gave up on RS until I moved to 20 and yes, I am a weak hitter, but not as bad as I thought. Recently on the reddit thread someone showed a graph chart and something like 75-80% of all online players were basically in the lower levels.
Since most of us are on the lower levels leaving settings across the board should not make a difference if all the white knights consider themselves so superior to us lowly commoners their skills should keep them at the top.
Unfortunately, they don't want any changes unless it benefits them and ONLY them. Commoners like myself should just "shut up and take it". Well, I didn't get 22 or 23, and with the halfhearted effort this year see no reason to get 24 unless it's a complete game with no bugs.

You have offered no constructive criticism. Saying the game is trash is not constructive criticism. It’s like in leadership or in a team setting if say to some one “come on” you’re literally doing nothing.
My hours the game has on does not change my level of care. If I stopped playing today nothing would change in my life.

You don’t like what some people post but that doesn’t mean the forums are ignored by the people that make the game. I’m sure the surveys and the forums give the company feedback that they use to make the game more responsive to the demands of the public.
