What's up with vs cpu?

Tired of losing in RS so I figure I'd try to knock out some innings against the cpu. I keep selecting my 5th pitcher but I keep getting matched up against the other teams ace every time. It worked normally earlier today and always before.
Anybody else experiencing this?

I just played the Det game on Allstar for the Kaline Program and I chose my ace and I faced Nova (def not their ace). I’m pretty sure that was my first V CPU game (not counting Conquest) so I’m not sure how it works (I know Conquest matches up rotation spots).

Yeah it was really weird. I played 3 or 4 games where I was only batting in the first inning for some fotf stat missions and every time I would get their ace even though I was picking a common pitcher in my 5 spot. I actually had to restart the app to get it working again. Not sure what that was about.

Def weird. Glad you got it figured out. I was playing showdown or moments or something and the opposing team had someone’s DD team jerseys on (talk about weird).
