I'm sure it is. I was thinking the other day (OT for the Royals, but...), why don't we have DiMaggio in the game? Probably another rights issue too.

I'd say that Lorenzo Cain definitely deserves a 99 from the '15 team and possibly Hosmer or Moustakas too. All 3 of Herrera, Davis, and Holland should already have 99's from that team too.

I agree with most everyone suggested in the thread so far. Would LOVE a Bo Jackson, but I assume they don't have his rights yet. Maybe for The Show 24?

I love the card art on the Jeter card (and I was born and raised in New England). Seems like a missed opportunity this year.

I know it's probably more of a "rights" issue than disrespect, but honestly, they are currently one of the worst teams in MLB right now. They have exactly one pitcher with over 5 wins, and one hitter batting over .270.
So, the only 99's I could envision would be Brett or maybe Frank White.

His speed, arm and power were off the charts. He was an easy NFL HOFer if he didn't get hurt. Not sure about baseball because he did k a lot.

It's 100% a rights/ownership issue, Cardinals have had a ton of legends over the years but all they can muster up in SSN 3 is Ryan f'in Ludwick!?!?
