Well, you knew with Dusty at the helm of the American League, they weren't going to win. I am a lifelong Astros fan, and there isn't a single person left in the fanbase who think he's competent. He lucked into a lot of talent and everything going right, for once in his life, last season.

EDIT: Clase=Camilo Doval in me foggy ol brain…I don’t think Clase even played now that I think of it…I didn’t see him but I know he made it I got a check mark by all the players I voted for that actually made it

Brother....you are so high above sea level, I can understand the lack of oxygen sometimes that can create the brain farts for the elderly. I on the other hand only get them rarely living at sea level. The moral of course is that we both love baseball and will forget sometimes as age creeps upon us.
BTW....The wife and I will be visiting Cades Cove in November. So you know where there is a big tree with a fence around it in a big open valley and the mountains in the background? That's where we got married and we visit it every year. If'n you are around then would love to meet you in person.

I feel sorry for whoever gets told to hire him next…oh please dont let it be the Mets. I’m afraid the way we’re all stuck with Dusty as a MLB manager is akin to the way that we’re stuck with the Justices in the Supreme Court…they reach the end of their term when they reach the end….of their…well, term.
What the poor soul needs is someone in his personal inner circle to break it to him that his mojo has ignobly fled the battlefield, so to speak.

Dusty had his time and i loved seeing him coach the Cubs and Giants but his time is certainly looking like it's up. But he will always be a legend and the inventor of the high five.

I know this tree. What a beautiful spot for a wedding! Spent half my youth up at Tremont, Elkmont, and Cades Cove. I’d love that perhaps after y’all visit there I could meet you over in Townsend after you come back through or closer to Pigeon Forge if y’all are staying on that end…we’ll hammer all of that down privately when it gets closer but I’d be honored for the chance to meet you both!
