Set 2 - 298/300 did we lose 2 cards?

This is purely out of curiosity because I’ll never be able to figure it out on my own. I completed the set 2 collection but now it says 298/300 but is still complete.
Same thing happens when you complete a Live Series team and then guys get dropped from the roster. So obviously my collection is still completed but 2 cards (at least) were removed. Anyone know anything? Do we have any Roberto Alomar situations going on here?
Weird, mine still says 300/300 and 260/260
That’s bizarre. The other one is 260/260. This is one of those “it doesn’t matter but I’m OCD and it’ll drive me nuts” issues. So basically a non issue
That could simply be because you two collected a different set of 300. How many total cards were in set 2?

A lot more than 300. I looked and I have a bunch that aren’t collected. It’s just really odd. Either 2 cards were removed (or more) or it’s a glitch of some kind. I just can’t think of what would be removed or why.

Yeah we haven't had any kind of Bauer or Vasquez incident that would remove a card. I was wondering if they made a few CORE. But really I have no clue.

Found out the answer. Rich Hill and Jacob Stallings got pushed off the page. They are still in the game and still count towards the collection but they are no longer showing on the binder because of space apparently? Random.

I noticed this with my completed live series collections last week and lost sleep over worrying if my collections were going to revert back to incompleted state

They weren't "removed", they just cycled to the Free Agent list as new players were added to the 40-man.

Mine also says 298 of 300 but it’s completed, im probably around 310 or something.

On the set 2 collection? I know that’s how they do it on Live series. I read that they fell off the page and it was Jacob Stalling and Rich Hill Topps Now flashbacks.
