The irony... the consensus was that people would stop playing if they couldn't use the Set 1 cards and now people are apparently still using Set 1 cards when they shouldn't be... let's see if a Game Update releases that fixes this or SDS says "hey guys have fun with the Set 1 cards" and just lets it ride.

I think there is a glitch if you kept an old squad it would work. My first original squad never asks me who to put in as my wild card. Never tried to have 2. But think it would work tbh.
The whole set thing is rubbish anyway.

You should report the game to SDS. Give them the date and time of the game from your history. Kondo and May are definitely S1 cards and one is probably the wild card. The other two could be S2 or S3 cards
Did that right after the game … I also reported the guy for suspicious activity. The reason: I asked him how he managed to get that many Set1-cards in his lineup. His answer was: I completely rebuild my team after season 3 launched, but the game „always glitches“

It doesn’t ask if you want one. Why does everyone think it will? There is no icon on the player either. My player is Murakami and there is absolutely nothing on him indicating he’s the wild card.

Of course we are reporting the games, but we NEED SDS to F***ing do something about it

I wasn't saying there wasn't any cheating going on. All I was pointing out was that there were other possibilities. If you read the thread further down, you'll see where I acknowledged that there was cheating.

Maybe these people didn’t update the game and it’s letting them play? It does say “are you sure you want to proceed without the new update” and you can enter the game.

I wish I did. The game and company aren’t perfect, far from it. But it isn’t the absolute dumpster fire everyone claims it is.
It’s a fun game that I don’t always agree with and get pissed off regularly. But I still enjoy it overall.
“Oh no they took out my 99 Trout and gave me a 97, grrrrr this games a piece of trash.”
Use new cards people. It’s not the end of the world.

It shouldn’t matter this much actually. Just beat him and move on. Eventually he’ll be forced to update then he won’t catch up.
