Yup! Playing Doom, Rage Against the Machine playing on my Sony Discman, those were the best days!

yes mate great memories - i remember also before the discman was the yellow and black tape player i think it was panasonic - super cool rubber "waterproof" !!!!

Yessss that’s right. I remember playing Doom with Pearl Jam ‘Ten’ album playing over the speakers. I’m pretty sure it was that or Quake where I first played deathmatch online. I’ve got two buddies who still haven’t spoken to each other since back then over one of them using a cheat code with a shotgun. That’s the truth
