By now, you’ve probably seen a tweet showing 6 new cards for tomorrow’s program- all flashback and legend All Stars and HRDs, all 97s and none very exciting.
So….let the debate begin because I am sooooooo bored at work today.
Are these henchmen and we will see our first real program 98s and 99s (other than POTM), or are these the bosses and tomorrow will be like a 50 car pileup?

I just don't want to have to collect hundreds of cards to get the 1 card I want. I hope they can do better with programs in set 3.
I get what you’re saying lol. I was just repeating. I’m to the point now, I have loved this game over the years, cause you didn’t need to spend money to get cards. Just grind. Or grind and sell. If TA3 is 97 max, and it’s pack lottery for 99s I’ll be moving to MUT. At least with madden I know what to expect.

Not taking a dig at you but can’t you tell that’s the way the program works this year
They aren’t changing that
They’ve already told you there’s 5 collection cards in season 3 and you will have to obtain X amount of cards to get the collection cards
Lol nothing is changing this year

Yep, me too. Tomorrows' release is make or break for me. I may take a look at MUT myself to be honest.

Agreed it is what it is this year. If sales are up absolutely nothing will change.

I am warming up my credit card as we speak and intend to have all five collection cards as soon as set 3 drops. Then I will transform into a World Series player!

The issue is there were also programs you could grind to get some 99s
By this time last year the only program 99 available was the one POTM card at the end of June I think was a 99. Also, this was not TA. These were the feature program bosses (there was no TA last year).
With that said, I don’t think you’re wrong about the trend they’ve set this year continuing but you can’t compare to last year because it was an entirely different model.

There will be a big collection for the 97 TA cards. That collection is 5 99 OVR cards. There will also be two captain cards in the program.

This is a good point. I forgot about this, there were some solid cards. Soto was great, Harper and burnes were solid. Machado was good too.

Well they also didn’t hide a majority of 99s behind pack lottery and make high end cards unsellable so you have to buy stubs
I know that’s the issue hence me saying that there were programs that you can earn 99s last year and that not being the case this year
What programs could you earn a 99 in last year in July?

What are considered henchmen in TA programs? I know we get a main card for each team and then a captain card but I don't remember henchmen.

For TA 2 it was the Future Stars cards.
TA 1 there was a gold and Diamond for every team. A mix of all the regular series like 2nd half, Veteran etc

Or through choice packs. They have always done ASG/HRD packs and their 97 Base/99 Rare works perfect for it. They keep talking about TN/POTM/TA3 coming tomorrow…but you know there are packs coming as well.

I want to say in the past, the current ASG and HRD cards were in their own program and not part of TA or feature program.
