TA 3- Bosses or Henchmen- what are we seeing here?

By now, you’ve probably seen a tweet showing 6 new cards for tomorrow’s program- all flashback and legend All Stars and HRDs, all 97s and none very exciting.
So….let the debate begin because I am sooooooo bored at work today.
Are these henchmen and we will see our first real program 98s and 99s (other than POTM), or are these the bosses and tomorrow will be like a 50 car pileup?

Either way it will be exciting. If they drop great all star 99 cards for the TA program those will be fun to use. If the 97 overall cards shown are the top cards in the TA program, this entire forum will explode which could be nearly as entertaining.

Hahahaha, yes man. We are on the same page. I’m excited to have a lot of content tomorrow even if they aren’t the worlds best cards but I have to believe they are going to turn a corner. And that these are henchmen. But I have lots of

The Henchmen will probably be 95 overall team Captain cards making the 97 flashback and legend ASG cards the team TA boss cards.
Well, I'm hoping the team Captain cards will be bumped up to 95 like the Captain pack in the flash sale. It would be horrible if they kept them 92. This is something that could also set off a firestorm in this forum.

Remember that both seasons have had 3 series. 30 bosses of new cards 97s (Charisma, Incognito), 30 Captains and then the Henchmen. So I’m thinking the bosses will be current All Stars which will be the new series.
But I’ve been wrong so many times….just so many time before.

Well they also didn’t hide a majority of 99s behind pack lottery and make high end cards unsellable so you have to buy stubs

You are right. I remember TA2 had the Captains as the rated below the FS and Incognito cards and remembered that TA1 the Captains were like the boss cards. Looking back at my spreadsheet, I have in TA1 a "gold henchman" and a "diamond henchman" then the Captain cards. I don't know much, but I know I won't be finishing the TA program in less than two weeks like the previous programs.

I know that’s the issue hence me saying that there were programs that you can earn 99s last year and that not being the case this year

I get what you’re saying lol. I was just repeating. I’m to the point now, I have loved this game over the years, cause you didn’t need to spend money to get cards. Just grind. Or grind and sell. If TA3 is 97 max, and it’s pack lottery for 99s I’ll be moving to MUT. At least with madden I know what to expect.

Not taking a dig at you but can’t you tell that’s the way the program works this year
They aren’t changing that
They’ve already told you there’s 5 collection cards in season 3 and you will have to obtain X amount of cards to get the collection cards
Lol nothing is changing this year

Yep, me too. Tomorrows' release is make or break for me. I may take a look at MUT myself to be honest.

Agreed it is what it is this year. If sales are up absolutely nothing will change.

I am warming up my credit card as we speak and intend to have all five collection cards as soon as set 3 drops. Then I will transform into a World Series player!

By this time last year the only program 99 available was the one POTM card at the end of June I think was a 99. Also, this was not TA. These were the feature program bosses (there was no TA last year).
With that said, I don’t think you’re wrong about the trend they’ve set this year continuing but you can’t compare to last year because it was an entirely different model.

There will be a big collection for the 97 TA cards. That collection is 5 99 OVR cards. There will also be two captain cards in the program.

This is a good point. I forgot about this, there were some solid cards. Soto was great, Harper and burnes were solid. Machado was good too.

I know that’s the issue hence me saying that there were programs that you can earn 99s last year and that not being the case this year
What programs could you earn a 99 in last year in July?
