Will Jim Thorpe be implemented as a historical person in Baseball? His stats looked phenomenal early 1900 before the Olympics

I’m not sure but he certainly deserves to be….the man could do it all and do it VERY well. He’d get my vote for certain

I agree...
But the game would still play like trash.

He was a hero to Native Americans a world class Olympic athlete and played in two major sports let's be a little less dismissive next time

You’re so offended. Pretty weird since you think he played baseball before he was an Olympian. You clearly know zero about the man. Maybe learn a little more about him before jumping on your high horse.

That wasn't my point but clearly you wouldn't understand

Thorpe was an incredible athlete and way back when I was a young athlete myself , well, I simply idolized him. I’d be thrilled, personally, to see him included in ANYTHING. I admit my bias straight up, plain and simple; I’m a fan. He was totally awesome.

Teams used him as a prop because of him winning medals in the Olympics. Him being in the game didn’t advance the game in any way shape or form for minorities in the game of baseball.
