PS4 Frame Rate

I am just wondering if there are any plans to patch the game on Ps4 (non Pro) to smooth out the frame rate issues. I believe what is causing it is the crowds. It is so bad that you can't really play the RTTS if you are in the field, and you pretty much have to play fast play otherwise the frame rate drops considerably.
If there is no plans, is there anyway to refund the game? I feel that paying 80 dollars for a game that is unplayable on a console is unfair. On a PC I could accept responsibility for not having checked the system specs, but on a PS4 this seems unfair.

I fixed my PS4 frame rate issue by getting a PS5.

As long as it hits the 30fps its rated for on PS4 its not their fault. Not much else they can do but stop making it for old systems.

Strange, I have great frame rates on the show 19, 20, and 21... didn't get 22, but 23 is really difficult

Bad wasn't the right term choppy is more like it however when I tried it on an XB1 S it was unplayable at like 15 fps with drops

i played 23 on a ps4 for about a week before i got a best buy credit card and got a ps5 lol

If you have PS4 Pro switch the game resolution to faster, that fixed the issue for me.

MLB 23 frame rates are horrible on a PS5.
Same game as last year. The only thing new are SDS made more bugs in the game visually and in the actual gameplay.
This game is trash.

Dude it's fine if you don't like the game but don't lie, The Show on PS5 is playing fine at 120 htz....is my PS5 different from your PS5? Being annoying like you usually are some can stomach but don't add lying onto that too.
