Chipper's Glove

I thought my team was the only one that Chipper routinely kicked ground balls for, until he cost my most recent opponent a run that proved to be the winner.
Does Chipper stink for only myself and my poor opponent, or is this a thing?
He has diamond stats, but on his best day might have been silver caliber.
And considering the game has regressed to the point that every fielder is Ozzie Smith/Willie Mays, I find it unsettling. -
He’s not bad on defense just not elite. Yeah he makes some errors but he also makes some Arenado type plays.

I feel like he's let so many past him at third lately that on my second pick I went ahead with wright over aaron and I know I need an outfielder. Not to say I won't be putting chipper as my WC because he'll still be a hell of a DH for me but his defense certainly feels worse than the attributes
