Set One cards...

Is there any reason to buy an expensive Set One card at this point? Also, any predictions about what will happen to Set One cards after July 7th? Will they still be available in the market but not in packs?

I don't think there is much reason to buy expensive set one cards right now, but I have no idea what's going to happen once the next set comes out. I still have a hard time believing there won't be some kind of big collection coming eventually, but I don't know.

I suspect alot of the set one special packs will find their way Into being rewards for conquest maps.

You want it as your wild card? Why won’t they be available in the market? People play DD offline.

I just bought Tatis 99 today. Going to play well in my league. Not too worried about the expiring nonsense

I picked up Wbc Ohtani, figured on using him trying him out for abit as SP/DH and if all goes well he could be WC spot. Would be the most efficient use of the WC spot

Exactly. Martin Dhigo would be the most efficient person to use if you don’t need a 99 as your WC. Since he can pitch and play all 8 positions.

He is core, but that 90 card is useless without the full up SG captain.
A 97 in set 3 would be nice though. I can easily see a NLB program coming in set 4, 5, or 6.

You’re right and so is the guy below you. The NLB cards are core cards. I just turned 50. Not quite AARP but sure seems like it.
