It makes no sense whatsoever. His OBP & batting average should justify it being at the very least 90-100.

It’s the same with why some pitchers get pitches taken away that they throw and others get pitches and outlier added when they never threw them or throw as fast. no one knows.

OBP and AVG have nothing to do with vision.
K % is what they used to determine vision.
He has lowered it a lot since his rookie year, but still strikes out plenty.

Because there will be a finest Judge in Set 5 or 6 that’ll be maxed out. These are all lower tier 99s followed by maxed out everyone later.

lol of course SDS chooses to use a nerd stat for how well someone sees the ball instead of his actual on field production. 🙄

Thank you for the explanation anyways.

    K% isn’t really a nerd stat. It’s pretty straightforward.

This card is supposed to be for how he played during the month of May…he hasn’t been striking out that much this year.

Sorry nerd…I think someone that hits over .300, Hits 50-60 dingers & brings in 150 rbis can see the ball just fine…But hey - K rate 🤓

Oh ok. So you’re just confused on what vision in this game means. Got it. Vision is the outer PCI and also involves timing. Both of those would affect how often someone strikes out… or K%.

Average, HRs, and RBIs is more related to Contact, Power, and Clutch in the game.

You just deciding/assuming what vision means isn’t going to change it.

Actually I was wrong, 21 and 22 his rate was down(25%) this year it's at 29.6 which is his typical (30%). check baseball reference.
you can select a breakdown of individual months, but 29.6 for the year is telling.

Yeah I know. What did he hit? Like .340 or something? Then they give him Stevie Wonder vision? I honestly don’t think they want us having anything elite this year.

Lol, so "vision" to you, means the same thing at the eye doctor as it does on MLB The Show. Weird.

There is also contact, power, discipline, hey thats is a good one. High discipline must mean never got in trouble as a kid and has a clean criminal record right?

Did he strike out a lot during the month of May? Because this card is based on his performance during that month.

He struck out 25 times in 76 AB. Not sure if that is really high or not TBH lol.

Mookie Betts, known to be a low K guy, struck out 18 times in 108 AB. So way higher than him.

Bregman 11 times in 107 AB.

Alvarez 22 times in 95 AB.

    Freeman 19 in 115 AB.

J Baez, known to strike out a lot 20 K's in 110 Ab.

So yeah I guess he did strike out a whole lot.

K% uses plate appearances, which Judge had 97in May , which is a little more than 25%,

Figured that, but also figured that the others guys would be similar boosted by plate appearances.
