why would hitter that faces pinpoint pitching get better animations than when he faces Analog .
Are you trying kill pinpoint out of this game . SDS idiots you are accomplishing your goal i'm switching after using pinpoint since it came out .
The most fun mode when i comes to pitching and you can't even use it because you are at such at a disadvantage.
I am mindblown how stupid and broken the game is this year ...Worst game in the franchise in years.

Looking at your Ranked stats, you have a 5.50 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. The problem may lie more on your pitch selection and sequencing, than the Pinpoint interface. Just throwing it out there.

Perfect perfect doesn't mean a perfect result they are two different things.
You can locate you PCI and timing is perfect and certain type of pitch and it's a single, you can be early on a pitch outside but get just under it and it's goes out of the ball park. This isn't something exclusive to tye game happens in real life all the time.
Pretty sure I never see post on here were someone goes I hit 4 home runs and was early on all of them my oppent squared up everything and got a bunch of singles. Sometimes the baseball gods smile of you other times they kick you in the teeth

No that's what happens when you use pinpoint. You miss a little and hitter get great animations . I played enough games where i know if im
facing a pinpoint user or analog by how much the pitches break and how well they locate.. I can confirm this by R2 ing to see .. with analog you can still pitch with R2 pressed -
Is this All-Star or HOF? If All-Star you don’t have much to complain about. The perfect-perfect hit is as forgiving in this years game as any other year ever. You don’t even need to be perfect on the ball or perfect timing. PCI is so big on all star that you can be on top of the ball but it will still trigger which in turn gives you a single/double etc.

I don't agree with everyone on a lot of stuff, but I think there may be an issue with you telegraphing what pitch or location you are going to use might be a possibility.

Also, another surprise...perfect perfect line drives and groundballs would not be homeruns! Maybe if one would get some air under the ball maybe a 112 mph hit would be a HR!

Lol everyone’s ERA gets higher every year. 125 hitting stats across the board nullify any sort of crazy sequence you think you have.
