The new BR/WS reward setup is fair.

This whole argument of “Well back in my day…” is bogus. You don’t introduce something and then take it away mid game cycle. You have a consumer base that is now accustomed to a certain status quo. It should be no surprise they are very upset.
-
Not to mention half of the season reward path packs are non-sellable as well. Very little ways for offline players to earn stubs these days.
-
Count me in the camp as ok with this as well. This probably “should” have been the setup on Day 1 when they introduced an alternative path to earn these cards vs having to pay 1M stubs (and wait in line) in prior years. Flipping is still very much in play to earn stubs so credit to the elite who earn these cards the “hard” way imo.

Part of me thinks, "If you can't get to WS or go 12-0, then be thankful you can still get one of the cards, even if it's no-sell."
Part of me thinks, "Designing a reward path that applies to 1-5% of the game base is not respectful towards that game base."
There's truth to both of these. SDS is trying to find the middle ground between funneling players to purchase stubs and spoiling them with free content. They're doing it on the fly, which looks really bad.

Bro you literally d ride the dudes so much you attack anybody saying negative stuff about the game at any time. The. You come on here d riding some more. Why do you think anybody cares what your opinion is? Maybe your 4 or 5 other flunkys but nobody else should care.

You do get something extra, a 90+ card that sells for 150k stubs. That's a $100 value. The only thing this will do is drive more people away from online.
Which player/card is this?

When you go 12-0 in BR, you get the Flawless reward plus a 90+ LS.

Several years ago the WS reward was Chipper Jones & man did I want that card BAD. Problem was - At that time I wasn’t yet a WS caliber player & there was no reward path. Only way for me to get him was to put in a buy now order for a million stubs & wait in line. By the time I earned a million stubs & put in the buy order, There was no way I was going to get one before the year ended. 4 months I waited & my order never got filled before the next show dropped….So please believe me when I say that being able to earn a no sell version is a HUGE WIN. If there’s a card you want, You can earn it nomatter your skill level…Now, As far as the outrage that it’s not fair that players that can make WS or go 12-0 get a sellable version - It’s absolutely fair…It’s hard to go 12-0, It’s hard to make WS. Doing so SHOULD earn you something extra. This is fair for all parties.
This is not a win.
You grind 10+ hours for a card you should be able to sell it. There was literally nothing wrong with the system before except the 12-0 goons couldn't get 500k for going flawless. Why do games continue to listen to streamers that have their own agendas. How about we get dedicated servers and see how many of these people can go flawless then?
Anyone going flawless more than likely has LS collections done. It was usually at least a 100k total for your flawless. Wasn't good enough for the .01% though so let's make that non-sellable. Good idea. smh

I’m fine with it! I used to be a pretty good competitive player. I made WS 4 or 5 times in ‘17. It was very tough……as it should be! That same year was the ONLY time I went 12-0. Also went 12-1 on two other occasions. It was double tough and to be honest I had a bit of luck on my side in my 12-0 run. I no longer have the patience for all that. I’m perfectly happy hanging between 500-700. With all that being said, if you make WS or go 12-0 you should be rewarded with a sellable card. Those that complete the program (like me), you’re being rewarded with a very nice card but you should not be able to sell it. Completing a program just means you played long enough to get it.

RS rewards I can understand not being sellable as anyone can complete the program much like any program which are all no sell so that makes sense, you could apply the same logic to BR the difference is that you pay the entry fee
If they had reduce the entry fee to say 500 stubs and applied the no sell option then I think tye program reward no sell theory applies.
I still do beleive that SDS in 23 us in experiment mode with sets and season so this will be one of many changes we see so be prepared for other stuff...just my 2 cents
