Scoreboard HR, why???
-
I have used Crosley field as my home stadium in BR for years and for life of me I do not understand why SDS programmed balls off the scoreboard as HRs now. Anyone else irritated by this?

Probably due to all of the whining about it robbing homeruns. lol

Target Field has some limestone wall that you can hit and it can land in the stands and it’ll be called a double.

That was one of the things I loved about that stadium. You could could knock the cover off the ball and still only wind up with a double. Gave it something unique IMO. Of course SDS had to ruin it though.

I wouldn't say that is unique when it is pretty much the same thing as hitting it off the Green Monster in Boston!

There was a created stadium, a goated one called 'PXP on Mars' last season, where if you hit a rf or lf gap, I rolled all the way back for easy inside the park home runs. Eventually, the AI caught up and started hitting balls there as well!
Good times! -

The Green Monster is the entire LF. The board in Crosley only took up a small section in Left Center only. To me, that is unique.
