Drop in pitch speeds for my opponent

When I play ranked seasons, every few games or so, my pitches come in extremely slow and the opponent is able to square up every pitch. Like I'm playing on Rookie. Like the pitcher is dead tired or something. It is very obvious to the pitch speed slow down. I've never had this happen to when I am batting. Is this a glitch, a cheat, or an SDS problem. It's pretty wasteful to watch this happen with no solution.

its just game latency the speeds arent different

It's the matrix effect just reboot system and this usually fixes the issue.
