Sooo I get blown up using Luis Castillo…
This guy uses all bronze pitchers in ranked and can dot corners all game.. every pitch i square up goes for outs and some how he can get bloop singles on very late swings…
Online game play is beyond horrible

Well, I think your first problem is probably using the Nintendo Switch for H2H play and your second problem is probably thinking you would be alright having crossplay on while using the Nintendo Switch! I think you are joking yourself thinking playing H2H with a Nintendo Switch and especially with crossplay on! That is truly a hilarious joke! Thanks for the laugh my friend!

Probably because your on an inferior (nothing wrong with the Switch but it doesn't match up to a PS or Xbox) console and you're playing online vs someone that's probably on a new gen console. At minimum they're in a PS4/Xbox One.

I'm assuming. So I could be wrong. But one is that I don't know if you can direct connect s Switch to the Internet with an Ethernet cable; so you would be on WiFi.
I would also assume it would have something to do with the graphics.
But again; I'm assuming alot.

Again, I’m not understanding what’s the issue with playing on a switch and having cross play on? Is this contributing to my opponent doing these ridiculous things I’ve mentioned?

Ya it is on wifi. Not noticing any lagging. The graphics aren’t the best but their manageable. I face three opponents tonight. The first two just hammered anything in the zone while I was causing outs on good timed pitches which was annoying. The last two opponents had stacked lineups but for some reason had all bronze pitchers and some how was dotting corners all game and my good swings were resulting in outs while he was getting bloop singles and hits on late swings which was really annoying. I don’t know how the choice of console would effect that. I think it’s just the overall gameplay online I was noticing.

The joke is playing this on a switch. You're going against guys with much more powerful setups . You are basically playing on dial up.

Should I turn off cross play? I used 97 Castillo and 97 Dustin may and struggled bad with both of them. Got annoyed cause these two opponents of mine for whatever reason were using all diamond hitters but bronze pitchers and were sitting corners easily and whenever I made good contact it would result in outs but his late/very late swings resulted in hard contact and hits. What’s the console choice have to do with that nonsense? I’m complaining about the gameplay but if the console choice has something to do with that I’d appreciate some sort of explanation that makes sense

The switch is not capable of handling this game. PS4 and XBone can barely handle it either and the switch is worse. You are at a massive hardware disadvantage if you play a PS5/XSX player online

guys i think the lesson we all got from this thread today, is that Switch is for Mario and Donkey Kong, PS5 and Xbox for the call of duty / MLB / anything serious
