    I had posted on this before, and people suggested that maybe my fielders weren't reacting because they weren't great fielders. But I've now noticed it with players like Nolan Arenado -- who's considered one of the best fielding thirdbasemen.

    What happens is that the ball is hit, and is usually past the fielder before they move. This was never the case in years past. I've checked my settings, I don't think anything's off.

    I've also noticed it with outfielders. Specifically, recently, with Christian Yelich and Ken Tucker, neither of whom I think of as a bad fielder. What happens with them is they actually take a step BACK -- away from where the ball's hit -- before they move in the direction I'm moving them.

    Is anyone else experiencing this? It's extremely frustrating and has cost me games in both Events and Ranked Seasons.

    Patches broke the game. Now we need patches to fix the patches. Look at mini seasons. Cannot even sort for players.

    @macdaddy-o_PSN

    Do you have Auto Fielding turned on? I'm pretty certain if Auto Fielding is turned on; the CPU will make a 'move' before you can take control of the fielder.

    I had a problem in ranked where Bob Gibson, and specifically just him, but it happened multiple times, would not react, at all, to a ball hit slowly right past him when he could have easily fielded it, and the game would give me control of the second baseman instead so, of course, by the time I switched control to P, it was too late. Maybe he just has obscenely low fielding. I never thought to check.

    My problems are mainly in the outfield that ive seen. Its really annoying when the ball is 20 feet to your left and the fielder break to the right. It just seems if the player isnt a high diamond fielding they almost always break the wrong way at first. I understand the reason but i think they overdid it with tryin to make fielding stats matter more
