Noticing (from the few times I looked) that flipping isn’t doing it this year….what’s everyone doing to acquire stubs? Simply just grinding? Is BR the way to go?
It’s still pretty early for flipping unless you’ve got mad dedication. Flipping usually doesn’t start paying off for me until June. BR is good, and just playing the game and selling anything you don’t want right now. Remember most cards will drop and we have top cards available already. I’m a collector but I’m gonna take that approach this year and sell what I don’t want and just buy back at a later date.

Buy them, buy more when they’re on sale.

Easiest way to get stubs?
My preferred method to get stubs?
Margins are tight at times, but I still often find 1-2K profit with decent volume.

Play the game and sell everything that’s sellable. It’s slow, but steady. I just unlocked Sosa a few days ago doing that.

are you collecting for set 1 or were you all in on Sosa?

Miniseasons, the Lefty guys sell for a decent amount. The xp from classic is better if you're already done with TA, Lefty just has slightly better rewards that are not too hard to obtain repeatedly.

I was all in for Sammy. Likely working toward Set 1 instead of doing AL now.

Just play the game and sell what you don't need. This gets asked a lot, but it's pretty easy to build up a stub bank just doing programs, conquest, other missions. Don't buy cards you don't need.
That sounds easier than it is. Maybe we are getting the same amount of stubs as last year but it certainly feels like less when there are so many cards to spend those stubs on.

I got the glitch twice with the invalid opponent roster before completing the regular season lol.

To finish the NL collection I played RTTS and went through the rewards for type of hitter. Put the difficulty on beginner and just bombs in tiny created stadiums. Total time is about 3-4 hours for each type of hitter. Made 100K-150K stubs each time by selling the diamond equipment/stubs rewarded for completing.

Short of a stub sale and grinding the game... the easiest way to get stubs is to sell duplicates no matter the tier of card and price it where you feel comfortable and just be patient. I know a lot of people that sell cards will undercut to jump the line so that their card sells first. Me personally when I go to sell a card I match the lowest price instead of undercutting and then I wait patiently for the sell to happen... after about a week or so if a card hasn't sold go back in and reprice it.
Another option is to look at the various collections and reward paths to see what they offer in stubs and grind those specific programs to get the stubs offered there.
One of the easiest ways to get collections done is to look at the cards you have in your inventory that are "no sell" and lock those cards in first before locking in other cards.
One other tip that I suggest is look at the quicksell values. I've seen where people post their card for the quicksell value but the return is -10% where as if you do the quicksell you get the full value in stubs for the card.

I find that buying stubs is the quickest & most effective method.
Before you say “But I’m 12 & don’t have money”…Shut the F up & go mow some lawns you lazy sh*t!

I keep getting it too now, usually if there's a team below 80 overall i just restart a few times till I get normal looking overalls again. Only thing is the problem just keeps getting worse with multiple 72 overall teams.

Best way is doing BR as soon as it comes out. Events too, if you get the cards quick you can sell them for a higher price.

Also if you can sell a Live Series after it gets Supercharged you can make bank on a card that you wouldn't necessarily get as many stubs for... with that being said I need to see how much Nimmo, Bichette, Walls and Kelenic go for and how many of each I have while they are SuperCharged.
