Weekly Wonders

Hey SDS maybe after this weeks bs with Ryan Braun you can have a mission next week where Dee Gordon has to hit two home runs s in a game? How does that sound?? Make sure you make ua use his 20 power card too. Oh and facing a lefty is a MUST.
-
What BS with Ryan Braun?
-
A 2 XBH in a game moment with a card that has about 60 Power. Insert your own Gary Carter Moment flashback here
-
You don’t need power to hit one in the gap or down the line. This seems like an odd thing to post about.
-
You know you only need 7 of the 8 objectives.
-
You don’t even have to do that challenge if you don’t want to
-
I’d rather have 60 for an XBH than 90. Better chance of getting a gapper.
-
Braun has a sweet swing. XBH no problem

Two doubles for me on 2nd try.
-
It wasn’t easy for me but I did complete it. Definitely not a great way to show off a captain card that they want us to use so bad. Should have had a lefty starter on the moment.
-
It wasn't that bad for me. Did it take a few tries? Yes. But I did it with a gapper double and a HR.

The ONLY problem I had with Braun is if there was a runner on first, chances it was Garrett Mitchell, which meant the CPU would throw over 3-4 times each AB. I even had Peterson throw over 3 times before he threw one pitch.

this or the 40-60 spd guy thinks he is Lou Brock or somethin, either way it ruins the at bat

What I also think was 'funny' is even though they were worried about Mitchell stealing with his 90/80 Speed/Steal, EVERYTIME I had what I thought was an extra base hit, was negates because Mitchell stopped at second. 🤬

This too. I really don't like runners when doing moments.
and risp with a guy with low clutch makes it even worse( moments seem to really find those guys) -
Was able to get it my 2nd chance. Sending some luck your way little fella.
-
Hit two triples with Braun on first try.

Moments are very obtainable to complete... you just have to keep doing them and use your best judgement in terms of what swing to use and when to take the extra base or not... definitely hitting balls in the gap or down the line makes life easier... the best ones though are the ones where the shift is on... there is no better feeling then hitting a ball oppo that drops in the infield grass... personally I'd rather this instead of how "Missions/Moments" were in the beginning when you had to accomplish these things in an actual game.
It also helps that with some of these programs you have multiple ways to complete them.
For example, I beat this week's Weekly Wonders by playing two 9 inning games, the first with a lineup full of captains (that included David Wright (Cover Athlete Captain) and Pete Alonso (Mets Team Captain from TA1) for the Mets), and then the second lineup I mixed in Mets (including those two) and Brewers, before ending it with a conquest game to get the final 3 innings with an all-Brewers lineup.
I might still do that last one or two Moments just because they are there before next week's Weekly Wonders program goes live.
