I literally cant play a single game of ranked without it saying "lost connection with opponent" and then I receive the loss. I now have 8 losses in ranked because of this issue. It is not my wifi that is the problem I play many other games and have no problems. I have never had this problem in any of the previous show games either. Its making me not want to play the game anymore I cant stand it.

I had this happen to me last year. Turns out it was my ISP was running some test for three days that required them to test every few minutes. It would cut connection for just a few seconds every so often. I got hit with a bunch of losses over about three days. Have you checked you ISP to see if they are doing any tests. Is there any new construction happening in your area?

If you are getting the loss then it's safe to assume that the server detected that you were the one who disconnected. Whether the server is right or wrong is unfortunately irrelevant.

I just had this happen to me. Get the first out in the first inning, but I got the "cannot connect to internet". I walked over to my computer, and was in fact still connected to internet, opened three different websites with zero issues while "cannot connect to internet" still occurring on the PlayStation.

I've played 58 games this year so far and never once had this problem. If there's a disconnection, I get the win every single time because it isn't my connection disconnecting. I usually play hardwired, but there have been plenty of games I played over WiFi. I have actually never (since 2019) had a disconnect that resulted in me getting the loss when it shouldn't have. HAS to be your connection and you don't realize it. The only thing that has happened to me (and has happened to everyone at some point if they play DD all the time) since I started playing DD in 2019 is I will finish a game and win, or my opponent will disconnect and it will say the game didn't count and no stats are recorded. 50% of the time, days later, I would get the win added to my history and account, 50% of the time the game just disappears into the ether never to be seen again...but disconnects counting as a loss when they shouldn't? Not once. Neither has it for anyone I know that plays the game.

This has happened to me at least five times in the past week. I have a hard wired CAT6 based internal network and have a solid 300 MBps connection. It has also happened both ways (once I got Ws, four times I got Ls). The last one was the most frustrating, I hit a 2 Run Bomb to go up 3-0, and immediately got the "lost connection with opponent" error, than an undeserved L.
Freeze offs do not seem to happen. When the game freezes, it appears SDS is randomly awarding Wins and Losses with no regard to the in game score, and immediately terminating the game.
Something has definitely changed as opposed to what happened in MLB21 and MLB22.
Ramone, please explain what SDs changed this year.!!!!!

Was up 7-0 in the 7th when my game crashes out giving me my first loss of the year to someone who didn’t even come close to deserving the win. Dude gets the win with 2 hits in the 7th.. cmon this can’t happen! )
