So since Griffey was teased in the content schedule next week I'm wanting to now play BR for him since he's a player I really enjoy using, but I know I don't have what it takes to do 12-0.
Any tips that I could use to get the program done without being able to do 12-0?

You don't need to go 12-0 to get the rewards. As long as you have a stub cushion to play with, you just keep playing with required players and earn the program points from missions, with wins in between to boot. It's really easy man, just need that stub cushion so winning won't matter.

I think someone said you just need to win 14 games to get enough points for the rewards

14 games only equals 14 points. But I guess if you are good enough to get the 500 points required for each of the 12 players in the same run you draft them, it is possible.

    Interesting. Thanks!
I really want Griffey a lot so I might even start saving some stubs for him tbh if I don't end up playing a lot of it.
I think I should be able to save up lots of stubs once I complete the set 1 collection choice pack tbh.
Too bad those cards aren't core but they are really good.

Start by drafting the program pitchers in the Silver ,Gold and Diamond rounds, or Bronze, Silver and Gold rounds if that's how it is this BR.
Pitcher PXP accrues the fastest simply by completing innings. Once you complete those, move on to the other program cards and keep grinding.

I'm not a 12-0 guy either, my best run this BR was 8-2, but on that run I knocked out two missions of 30 hits in a draft and 4000pxp in a draft, and that gets you a lot of program progress.

The moral of all of this is, if you draft the mission cards, and simply play the games, you can finish the program.

My one tip? Never, ever quit. Do all of the things mentioned above, but also... Never quit. I typically win between 5-7 games per run. Sometimes, I'll run into a goon who smashes everything. At that point, I'll load in my pxp mission pitcher and run him into the ground. His arm is falling off, but I'm not quitting. I'll take the pxps. I lost a game in the last run 18-6, but I got that guy to the 500 points needed for the 4 extra points.

    Never quit.

Seconded, you're only gaining PXP staying in the game 🙂

Should only need about 20,000 stub cushion max to have enough entry fees. As long as you stay around .500 or better.

This is good advice for completing the BR program…

Don’t worry about your record for the first bit, only worry about the PXP missions. Once you have completed them. Get sweaty, the PXP in one run, and 9 wins in one run can completely take away like 20 games you need to play. It you do t want to be worrying about PXP with certain players at that point. Just drafting the best possible team and working for every win. You will no doubt come across some guys just running their pitcher into the ground for PXP. So even if you aren’t great you might get lucky. But it probably won’t happen during the time you are focusing on getting XP with lower level players.

If you're a player like me and seldom win three games, it's better to flip the market and buy the card you want. For example, Mathewson is going for around 60K today. That's equivalent to 40 entries. It would probably take me more than 40 entries to get the 100 points for the Flawless pack. You can flip the market to get the 60K in less time than it takes to play 40 entries.
