*Fernando Tatis Jr. - LS Overall*
-
Tatis is expected to be back with the Padres next week. What do you expect his LS overall to be?
Not sure where he was at last year, but in 2021 he was in that rarified 90+ class and a premium diamond to pull. I think that his return has affected the current elevated price on Machado. People are buying him to complete the SD collection so they don't risk waiting for Tatis to come back into the game with a hefty price tag attached to him. Then again on the flip side, if his overall is in the mid 80s range then the chances of people pulling him would be exponentially greater meaning that he wouldn't be as expensive which could result in Machado's price coming down as well.
Is there even a chance he starts off as a high gold? Really not sure what will happen with him, but we will know soon enough.

I can’t imagine he starts off as a gold, but I also don’t see him starting as a 90+. SDS has been pretty harsh on live series rating this year. I’m guessing he’ll be an 86 or an 87, right in line with Acuna. That said, his price will be massive as a new Diamond added to the game. Anyone that pulls him should sell him right away when his value is at its max.

88 or 89. They won't drop his LS for steroids that far in the same year they added 2 of the 4 steroid poster boys to the game
-
What was he ranked before he got caught cheating?

Just checked on the app and looks like he was a 92 overall at the time of the suspension which is higher than I thought.

Don't think he'll be in the 90s, proably 87-89. But i think it could also depend on if they put him in the game as a SS or switch him to OF.

With the new fielding rating this dude better be careful he doesn’t go silver.

Just curious — who do you consider the other 2 steroid poster boys? Bonds and canseco, I guess? Or A-Rod? I could also see Clemens or petitte or even palmeiro because of his testimony in front of congress. Or manny or Giambi or Braun or….

Bonds and Clemens. Canseco and Palmeiro are probably 5th and 6th. A-Rod and Manny are part of the "stupid enough to take them after 2004" group. Giambi just really wasn't in the same ballpark as the rest of them as far as his career went(maybe Canseco but Canseco was kinda the mastermind of it all so as far as poster boys for steroids go he is higher)
