Sorry but same game as always with a new skin. Unless you are one of the world beaters you are basically just at the discretion of the animations.
Once you add in early and late hits, perfect perfect outs, random floating pitches and random errors there is little to no skill involvement in the winning the game unless there is a big skill gap between you and your opponent. And I say that as a mid tier player. When I win it’s just the game giving me the win.
I’m guessing this gets deleted which is why the game has been this way. I wish it was good because in theory the game should be fun lol.

Frustrating no doubt but online is still way more entertaining than offline imo. Does feel like for past 2 years “momentum” influences outcomes way too much. Feels like once an inning starts going (either for me or my opponent) it quickly spirals out of control and you just hope your opponent gets themselves out somehow.

It’s all RNG based still, especially in BR. You know what someone is up to when you go up 7-0, You know the story, guy can’t buy a hit…then POOF…magically your balls that you hit now die at the track and of course the opponent learns to hit and comes back with every single hit floating with boosted exit velo with perfectly placed hits in gaps and then come the forced errors with good feedback, and their 52 powers start hitting rockets out of the zone and every thing is fouled off. It’s the same script over and over
