This paying for showdown complaint is getting very old. it's such a low amount it isn't even pocket change its money you find randomly walking around. and the fact that you get most of it back in the the first 3 non eliminations practically negates it's existence
Considering you need to complete 3 blues and a red to get your money back, and you're basically guaranteed a silver player to sell, it's easy to make your money back. My personal issue has more to do with the drafts themselves. It seems like every single first silver round is a pitcher only round, and it seems like I get 3 pitchers in a diamond round more often than any other result. It really sucks getting near the end and having your diamond round be Robin Roberts, Max Scherzer, John Franco, and FoTF Brian Anderson
I agree , the draft could be a lot better.
more better player rounds, or if not at least let us draft the bronzes instead of crappy random ones. -

I only played FUT and know better than to buy packs. From just competing in the champions league and doing the other challenges you get so many free packs and coins it’s super easy to build an elite team without spending any money. It reminds me of The Show but gameplay is a million times better. Both have great content offline and online but one plays wayyyyyyyyy better
And not one complaint of server lag huh?

Not one to make personal remarks but to claim someone is mentally ill while there is a deadly virus that is cause sickness and death along with alot of other ripple effects like mental illnesses due to anxiety and depression I think you need to take a long look in the mirror and choose to keep your thoughts more positive and productive

I don't think I've lost stubs on showdown once. I've lost showdown, but stop thinking your going to win every time. Yea it's completely frustrating, but the hardest thing in Sports is hitting a fastball, so we need to stop thinking everything is going to be easy.

I'm glad you think FIFA is good. But, EA screws everything up to the point of it being comical. Just off the top of my head:
They released packs with new icons, only to find out that those packs didn't have the icons. They denied it but eventually were forced to refund everyone's packs.
They routinely release SBCs that are completely flawed and have to rerelease them.
Unfair and unjustified bans for players selling on the market.
CHEMGATE? Missing traits?Some of that is from the last 3 years, but there is also a reason that FIFA 20 is in the bottom 10 games of all time for metacritic users. Anyone who picks EA over SDS is insane.

Your post makes me very glad I haven’t played this years version yet. Played every year since FIFA 14 but took this year off to play 2k and now The Show. I didn’t experience any of the issues you mentioned but maybe those are all in this years game. Never heard of CHEMGATE?

SDS. But I did love EA mvp baseball back in the game. Would be interested to see what they could 15 years later. But I understand EAs consumer issues weigh them down, with that said SDS overall still would be better. This game is close to being right where it needs to be. They just have to be careful and not mess something else up while trying to fix a specific issue.

Chemgate was where the informs and special players didnt actually play to their stats because they were playing on lower chemistry. It was a theory that eventually was proven. So every special player was fraudulent.

SDS is trending downward for me but it’s still not even close. EA lost it 10 years ago now. Absolutely terrible company. Madden is a joke of a product.

I always played my teams on 100 chemistry and made sure each player had 10 chem. The way you word it sounds like it only happened if you played with them on less than 10 chemistry so I wouldn’t have noticed but that is still some shady [censored]. If I misunderstood your wording and it happened no matter what the chem was then that’s even worse.
At least they eventually acknowledge and fix their mistakes usually with compensation. Both companies have their flaws but EA games tend to be more fun and better run imo. C’mon we all know NCAA Football 14 is the greatest sports game of all time...
