Core Collection?

Yes because there are the Core cards in the game that are for collections to lock in for a future collection and also I think every set will have cards that go into these sets.
I'm thinking we likely will get one either every season or potentially right before/after since they should have enough content to collect from each to complete the core collection for the next big player.
Every year there's multiple cards to lock in with vouchers so I expect a pitcher outfielder and second baseman or something this year.
I'm really not expecting the new card till first set is done because the newest card will likely be expensive to get. -
I'd like to say yes but who knows at this point. SDS seems to be completely overhauling the entire concept of collections with the Sets. We dont have much in the way of collections so far other than LS and Set 1 but i feel like we're really not getting a lot of cards to collect like we're used to. Everything just seems to be WBC, Charisma and Captain cards with a few Postseason, AS, Breakout, Rewards etc here and there. Do we even have enough to collect or am i seriously miscalculating how many are in the game so far?

While there may be a core collection there will not be a legends and flashbacks voucher collection. Those were always there from the start if each game for BIAH packs and such. They aren't there now

This. Game is only a few weeks old. Give it time. They'll add FB/Legend Collections soon.

Pretty sure he may have data from last year of when certain FB/Legend Collections were available. Not the mega ones; but if the actual collections were there Day 1 or I'd they showed up later on down the road.

A few months isn't too bad of a wait tbh.
I'm thinking at least 2 months is a solid amount of time which is what I'm expecting anyways -

There were mini-collections on 2022 Day 1 (Collect 10 All-Stars for 87 Joe Nathan or some such), but not years prior. Before that, the Legends/Flashback tab didn’t debut until the 1st collection.
Ever since they went to 4.5 collections a year (in 21), the 1st would usually drop late May-early June.

There were mini-collections on 2022 Day 1 (Collect 10 All-Stars for 87 Joe Nathan or some such), but not years prior. Before that, the Legends/Flashback tab didn’t debut until the 1st collection.
Ever since they went to 4.5 collections a year (in 21), the 1st would usually drop late May-early June.
I mean if I have to redownload 21, 20, and 19 to get screenshots of collect 1 signature series card etc. for a ballin pack I will gladly do so. They have always been included from the start. Maybe apart from 19. I can almost 100% guarantee you I collected David Ortiz in 21 for a ballin pack before Rivera came out. I know this is your thing man but you are wrong on this one

I’m sure you are correct. I just don’t keep track of “Collect for a Ballin Pack” because … honestly. I just care about the card/item rewards.
I mean, I know it’s supposed to be my thing, but sometimes you draw the line.

That "collect 1 signature series card" being on day 1 was...just like SaveFarris stated...a "mini collection" only in 22 but not previous years. If you think there were mini collections on day 1 other than the starter collection, you would be wrong!

Didn't mean my comment to come off as rude. I just don't want everyone to get their hopes up on something that has imo a less than 50% chance of happening. A big collection kinda goes against thee whole set/seasons idea. They changed the whole game this year and having both set collections and a big collection just doesn't really make sense to me

That "collect 1 signature series card" being on day 1 was...just like SaveFarris stated...a "mini collection" only in 22 but not previous years. If you think there were mini collections on day 1 other than the starter collection, you would be wrong!
