Well, glad they are finally paying attention to this stuff in events and BR.
But doesn’t surprise me they can’t target the correct culprits.

They’re trying yes. And I know I can’t believe everyone on here. But 90% of the people who’ve gotten banned under the same circumstances as myself have never even played an online game

This type of in-game behavior goes against the Online Code of Conduct that all players must agree to when first entering online modes of MLB The Show.
This suspension is non-negotiable. Please be aware that any additional infractions can result in further suspensions that will go up to a permanent ban.

The Show SupportI’ve seen multiple people with the same issue. I’d like to get an actual tally of everyone with the same issue and email response.
I am beginning to think that they have some automated system looking at game logs for 0-0 scores without any pitches being thrown (of which you show many) and getting some people that way. They apparently can't tell a mini season game from a BR/Ranked game.
Or maybe they actually don't want people shortcutting Mini Seasons

Those both say vs CPU. Is it saying that because of the ban?

That is the banned user's team (The Eagles) showing as CPU but the other team has a username attached to it. So it was either an online game of some kind or a mini seasons game. I thought mini season games showed the mini seasons team names (like the Whales) in the game log. I have not played Mini seasons yet but I did not recognize either the Tigers or Dash as a mini season team.
I'm curious now. I will start a mini season tomorrow so I can see how it is listed in the game logs.

I got the ban too. Mine is for win sharing on BR. I have not played one BR game this year. I have played one RS game. That game was 0-0 in the 5th? Before my internet company decided to have a scheduled outage (that no one knew about). Needless to say my ban 100% has to be a mistake. I have filled out multiple tickets, sent DM’s, etc. to no avail. I really hope they do the right thing and reverse this stuff. It has really bummed me out over the last two days because I have been off of work and planned to grind all day.

Also can anyone tell me how I get the ban message to pop up? I have only seen it once. I read where some people said their ban was reduced from 2 years to 90 days, to 2 days. I would love to be able to check if mine has been reduced, but can not figure out how to get the message to populate.

It also does not say 2023 online game in the summary at the bottom

Dude…Wow…I just saw my entire game log. I see the games I played against the computer. I also see a lot of 0-0 games as you stated against other real ppl. I 100% did not compete in those games. Is there anyway that they could have possibly played my team in some other game mode? I know there was a way to last year, where your team would play against other people even while you were offline. That would be only explanation. No way did I play in some of those games. This is getting more and more ridiculous.

For the Franchise part, MTO counts as franchise on ones profile I believe, but yeah you are right on that other stuff

I looked up someone's Mini Season game last night. That game showed the mini seasons fake team name on the Box score, did not show a user name for the other team, and did not list the game as a 2023 online game.

Yeah. Same here. I also talked to someone on twitter who got banned. Two days ago SDS lifted their ban and apologized. I’m hoping that we all get the same treatment. I highly doubt that those affected and on here looking for answers would waste our time if we knew we were guilty.
