They don't remove injured diamonds from the live series rosters, just suspended players

Injured Diamonds aren't removed unless the team forces their hand by promoting debuting minor leaguers and taking away a roster spot.

If he's injured all year he'll be removed from the 40 man, right? How could it not be that way? Isn't that what SDS uses for the team rosters for collections?

He will be on the 60 day,which does remove him from the 40 man.but he will stay on the Mets roster in game.
Just look at Verlander,he never left the Astros roster while on on TJ for a year and half. -

From MLB's 40-man, yes.
From SDS's 40-man, not until they call up all the rookies on their 40-man.
