Last year we had Randy Johnson who was just a nightmare to deal with for quite awhile but this years master Jeter doesn’t compare to what Randy was last year. Sure he looks amazing but I don’t see him having the same impact Randy did.

McGwire and Sosa look good as well but they’re not worth the millions of stubs spending to get them. I basically did the collection last year specifically cause of Randy and seen how dominant he was. I just don’t see the value being worth it this year. Anybody else feel that way?

Normally I’d disagree with you but the depth of content is amazing. I’ll get it done but it’s not a priority like the last few years

100% here….ran through the WBC program and managed to pull the rare round so picked up the trout. Think season 1 set is playable for 50 days so between that and the TA programs, no push at all for LS collection.

Early on I’ll typically complete some of the cheaper team collections but I haven’t even thought about doing that yet.

It's not just about the 3 big rewards though... a lot of the exclusive cards you get from this will be used throughout the year to help with other collections. If you completely skip this... it will make it a lot more difficult to complete other big collections later on. I'm trying to go all out on the LS collection to finish as soon as possible before I do anything else with stubs. I've been selling off everything and only spending stubs on LS cards until it's done. BTW... those 3 cards you say aren't that great look great to me, and looking forward to using Mcguire and Sosa for the first time in the Show.

Yeah I can wait on this one, I was never really excited about Jeets as a collection. His 92 Captain card will suffice.

I think the amount of content and good cards has lowered its value for me. The only one I will push to get early is Sosa, the rest I will get when I get

I completed the LS collection because being a Yankees fan that grew up during the Jeter led dynasty, I didn’t want to wait until August to get him. So far he ha[censored] more homers for me than Sosa or McGwire and that’s with no boosts. And not cheap ones either - Center field no doubters. He actually is a great card. And while he may not be worth “the cost” to non Jeter fans, You will need him for all future big collections.

I agree and normally I’d be scrambling. I’ll still get it done before set 2 comes out but I can still play ranked and events with really good squads without Sammie McGwire or Jeets. I want them but not as big of a priority as years past. I’ve completed 4 live series teams this weekend for about 12k stubs

I think all 3 cards are worth keeping the entire year. They’re all great. However, I want a Cardinals McGwire (currently loving the 2001 Cardinals McGwire for Conquest) so I’ll only be completing the NL for Sammy Sosa and using Jeter’s 92 card which is very solid, especially if you parallel.

The Angels collection alone is over 450k on PS. The. NL collection may be worthwhile, but there is no way I’m touching the AL collection without significant pack luck.

Sosa is one of the best cards they have ever put out in this game. Worth it to atleast complete the NL

Yeah I'm not bothering at this point. I will try to get NL done eventually, but otherwise I haven't even looked at it yet. Feels like there will be so many other options for good cards out there.

I have no idea how you’ve done it. Margins are thin flipping and I’m only at 86K stubs right now.

One thing though, those LS collections can be used all year. Cards like the 99 Trout, 99 Gehrig ect, are season 1 only.
