Redeem code does not work for PS5 version with Captain Edition (PLEASE HELP)

I put in my redeem code and all I can download is the PS5 beta/tech test version. It says in my receipt section for codes that I redeemed the PS5 bundle but it is nowhere to be found on my console, in downloads and the Playstation Store. What the hell is going on?

you have to go into the store to get it i believe. i think SDS posted it somewhere.

It is not there. All that is available is Beta/Tech Test in the Store.

to in game you have to go to the packs section. the bundle is supposedly there? if not, i dont know.

Thanks to Cod over at Operation Sports:
You have to put the PS4 disc in the system. Then you have to hit the triangle button on the game's icon and go to the store page (or more info, can't remember exactly). Then you're giving the option to add the PS5 version to you're library for free. The same button that adds it to your library will change to Download once the game is added.
This is how the PS5 vouchers have worked for years on multiple games (MLBTS, FIFA, etc.). I wish it was easier too, but we have to work with what we have a be content.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, you still have to have the PS4 disc in the system to play the PS5 version. Again, just the way it has been since the PS5 released.

I bought the Captains edition physical copy. If my son redeems the ps5 upgrade and the bonuses on his account (im being a nice dad), can I then play the ps5 version as well or will I be stuck with ps4 version. since the upgrade was on his account
